Here’s a closer look at what you can expect from your Virgin Active Health Club experience…
Your membership
We’ve reduced - and in most cases, eliminated - planned increases to annual membership subscriptions for 2009, freezing many membership rates at 2008 levels. The only exception to this is our Diamond membership, which will remain unchanged as the rate is fixed as a price for life.
More investment from us
We’ve significantly increased our planned expenditure on new equipment and facilities across our club network. So starting from January 2009, members can expect plenty of hot, new innovations coming their way…
New personal training packages
We’re introducing a whole new range of personal training packages in January – promising more flexibility and better value for money than ever before!
Swimming lessons
Our 2009 swimming lesson prices are currently under review. Any confirmed changes will be communicated – and effective – before the next round of course bookings.
Club-V
Kids’ facilities and services have always been non-VAT chargeable, so our Club-V memberships and crèche prices will not be affected by this change.
HeavenV
All HeavenV products and treatments will reflect the reduced VAT rate from January. We’ve also launched some special December promotions, which offer sensational value for members. Take advantage of our Christmas Advent Calendar and Treatment packages - along with a huge range of retail products for you or someone you love!
Food and beverages
All food and drink prices will be adjusted at the point of purchase to include the reduced VAT rate from January. It will take us a little while to bring signage and printed materials up to date – so please bear with us in the meantime!
Retail purchases
Retail and sports wear purchases will also reflect the reduced VAT rate at point of purchase from February, but again, it will take a little longer to update signage and printed materials accordingly.
