What are the Club Games?
The Club Games are Virgin Active’s signature fitness competition, designed to challenge your strength, power, and endurance like never before. This head-to-head event is all about teamwork, strategy and pushing yourself to new limits. It’s you and your partner versus the rest.
It’s the grit of Hyrox, the strategy of ATHX, and the community vibe of the CrossFit Games all under one roof. Expect to:
Push through tough workouts as a team
Test your strength, speed and stamina
Win epic prizes if you’re the top team at your event
Make the most of your multi-club access—if your home club aren’t hosting a Club Games, you could compete elsewhere
Where can I compete?
You can compete wherever a Club Games is being held if your Virgin Active membership gives you access to that club. Double check your access before you sign up and simply swipe on the day to join in the Club Games fun.
What’s up for grabs?
The winning pair from each event will take home prizes to celebrate their victory and their hard work. You’ll want to fight for the top spot for bragging rights alone!

Two workouts. One Goal.
Workout 1: Strength
Strength and Conditioning only
Partner work is key in this 12-minute EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute). While one partner works, the other holds a plank. If you drop your hips, your partner’s reps don’t count—no pressure!
Kettlebell Goblet Squats
Dumbbell Push Presses (20kg male / 12kg female)
Reverse Lunges
Lift Club
You’ve got 15 minutes to show your strength. Support each other and give it everything— you've got this!
Back Squat – 5 Rep Max
Push Press partner work – max reps in 1 minute (40kg male / 25kg female)
This is your chance to build points through teamwork, stability and sheer determination.
Workout 2: Fitness
This is where speed and precision join forces. You and your partner will race head-to-head against other teams to post the fastest time.
8 minute time cap for:
20 calories on the Echo Bike
20 Single Arm Dumbbell Snatches
20 Burpee Broad Jumps (or Synchronised Burpees)
20 calories back onthe Echo Bike for the final sprint!
5 minute time cap
