What are weekly rewards and how do they work?
What are weekly rewards?
Weekly rewards are instant rewards for members to reward them for their loyalty to Virgin Active. It is determined by the number of club visits required to be met each week.
How do I achieve my weekly goal?
Weekly rewards are achieved when you successfully reach your weekly goal. Initially, you need to achieve 2 qualifying activities within a week. Once you achieve this, you receive a weekly instant reward. In the following week, your weekly goal will be increased to 3 visits per week, and if achieved, again this will increase to 4 visits. The weekly goal will never exceed 4 visits.
What is a qualifying activity?
You must scan your physical membership/RFD wristband when entering club. You can only qualify for one visit per day.
What is the 'weekly' timeframe?
The period in which you can earn your weekly goal is from Monday morning (00:00) until Sunday night (00:00).
What do I get for achieving my weekly goal?
For weekly rewards, you can choose between 3 rewards:
- Voucher for a regular Kauai smoothie or hot drink
- Voucher for a free item redeemable at Mother vending machine
- 50 Tier points
Each voucher will include its own terms and conditions. If Tier points are selected, these are automatically added to your points tally once selected.
When will the reward become available?
A weekly reward will be made available to you in the app when you successfully complete your final qualifying visit of the week. Rewards should be issued immediately, however, it may take at least 30 minutes (and sometimes longer) before you are issued your reward.
How long is the reward valid?
Once you qualify for your weekly reward, you will have 7 days to select a reward. If you select a voucher as your reward, you will have 7 days to redeem/use the voucher. If you achieved a weekly reward from the previous week that is still valid and you have also achieved a reward in the new/current week, you will be eligible to have two active vouchers.
How many vouchers can be used at once?
Only one voucher may be redeemed per transaction at either Kauai or Mother.
Can I change my mind?
Once a selection for the weekly reward is made, it cannot be changed. Vouchers are not interchangeable, meaning you cannot use a Kauai voucher at Mother and vice versa.
What if I don't redeem my voucher within 7 days?
If the voucher is not redeemed, it will expire and will not be carried over to the next week.
What happens if I do not achieve my goal?
If you miss a goal one week then you will not be rewarded and your new goal for the following week will be one less than the current goal. For example, if your goal was 4 and you missed it, next week it will be 3.
What happens if I visit a Club multiple times per day?
Only one visit per day counts towards your Weekly Goal. This includes visiting different clubs on the same day. Only one of those visits will be counted per day.
